	What is the Subject Centre? - A publicly funded service, providing UK-wide support and services for higher education in Languages, Linguistics and Area Studies - One of 24 Subject Centres which comprise the Subject Network of The Higher Education Academy - subject areas. We do this by supporting our stakeholders and helping them to provide the best possible learning experience for students. LLAS is responsive to the needs of our stakeholders and also offers academic leadership in promoting good practice and identifying emerging issues.
