Research is fundamental to the obesity unit, where many research projects are continuously carried out and developed. The main research areas concern the evaluation and development of treatment methods, the aetiology of obesity, lifestyle change, endocrine aspects of adipose tissue, psychological aspects of obesity, eating behaviour and satiety, and many more.
At the Obesity Unit several studies are conducted to help us to understand more about obesity. Research areas cover the etiology, consequences and treatment of obesity.
