The mission of the centre is to develop basic and translational research (type 1 and type 2) to guide our response to this crisis in nutrition and health at multiple levels, including broad public policy initiatives, population and individual level social marketing and health promotion interventions, clinical interventions for severe obesity in children and adults and laboratory based food and health science.
