The project is targeted to the development of innovative methodologies and instrumentation to fight the fraud encountered in a variety of sectors, from illegal marketing of pharmaceuticals to trade of raw materials, high-tech industrial products, jewelry, and antique artifacts. The proposed methods are relying on the production of miniature holographic elements on the items by direct laser-based methods. The project elaborates with synergy with existing authentification and concludes with specific novel instrumentation and standards for universal application and worldwide exploitation. Source : cordis
